Mitsubishi Lancer

Japanese Auto manufacturer Mitsubishi Motors has launched its popular mid segment sedan model Mitsubishi Lancerin Indian market, as a joint venture with leading Indian auto maker Hindustan Motors. Mitsubishi Lancer is a luxurious sedan model which is packed with an array of advanced features. Mitsubishi Lancer is a stylish car which is loaded with lots of styling features at both exteriors and interiors of the car. Mitsubishi Lancer is available in Indian market with two variants – one with petrol engine and another one is packed with diesel engine. All variants of Mitsubishi Lancer are available in the price range of Rs 7.33 lacs to Rs 8.11 lacs (as ex-showroom prices). This price range is looking competitive for this segment but still Mitsubishi Lancer is facing tough competition with other cars of this segment                         
                                                                                                                                          like Honda City, Fiat Linea and Maruti SX4.




Mitsubishi Lancer is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. Both petrol and diesel models of Mitsubishi Lancer is powered by the high performance engine. The petrol variants of Mitsubishi Lancer is powered by the 1.5L, 1468cc, Four cylinder petrol engine that delivers high engine performance and produces 87PS of maximum power with 13.5K-gm of maximum torque. The acceleration of this petrol engine is also excellent so that it can touch 100kmph mark in 12.9 seconds and the maximum speed of this model is 175kmph. On the other hand, diesel variants of Mitsubishi Lancer is powered by the 2.0L, 1998cc, Four cylinder diesel engine that produces 68PS of maximum power with 12.5K-gm of maximum torque. Power and torque of this diesel model seems bit lower but it also delivers good engine performance. These diesel variants of Mitsubishi Lancer can touch the 100kmph mark in 17 seconds and the top speed of this model is 155kmph.
Mitsubishi Lancer is a stylish premium sedan model that features stylish and bold exteriors with its large sporty headlamps, body colored bumper, body colored door handles and ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors), bold and aggressive vertical front grille. The high mounted tail lamps and Sporty Roof Antenna further adds more style to its exterior. The interiors of Mitsubishi Lancer are also very stylish and it is packed with number of new generation features. Its dual tone dashboard, advanced instrument cluster, fabric upholstery, leather covered steering wheel and adjustable, comfortable seats with armrests makes Mitsubishi Lancer a very stylish car that will offer a comfortable driving experience.
The petrol variant of Mitsubishi Lancer which is packed with 1.5L, 1468cc, 4 Cylinder, SOHC, 12 Valve MPI petrol engine with five speed manual transmission gearbox that delivers excellent engine performance with better fuel efficiency. This petrol variant of Mitsubishi Lancer offers mileage around 12kmpl mileage in city and around 16kmpl mileage on highway. While the diesel version of Mitsubishi Lancer is powered by the 2.0L, 1998cc, 4 Cylinder, SOHC, 8 Valve, IDI Diesel engine with five speed manual transmission gearbox that delivers excellent fuel efficiency. This diesel variant of Mitsubishi Lancer offers mileage around 13kmpl in city while on highway it delivers around 18kmpl mileage.
